People are our biggest asset- and often are also the largest cost that we need to manage.  Having accurate tracking of the cost of payroll and its allocation to departments and grants is essential.

Watch Your Time

The timesheet application interfaces directly with the general ledger and project budgets.  It provides the ability to allocate to projects based on actual costs, and posts automatically the allocation entry to the accounting system.  Corrections to timesheets are also handled automatically.  Vacation and sick leave accruals, use, and remaining balances are available.  A variety of reports are included to help you manage timesheet and costs allocations.

Dashboards

People need to see and understand information in different ways – that’s why we developed this dashboard – it shows country directors if their financial reports are in and approved.  The “traffic light” system – Green, Yellow or Red – provides accounting information in a easy to understand format – Green is good, yellow indicates a caution flag (something needs to be done), and Red tells the directors that they have something that they need to do.

You have already done the work – why do it again? The solution allows you to upload Excel files with accounts, budgets, and financial transactions.

Save Time

The solution works the way that you do.  It both uploads from Excel files and downloads into Excel files.  It creates all the additional information needed to do accounting for grants automatically, including the overhead calculation, the restricted asset release, and the offsetting ledger accounts.

Upload! Reduced Effort

The solution uploads field reports from Excel files.  It has the ability to prevent uploading if the grant will become overspent.

It contains logic to correct various types of errors in field report uploads, such as the account number, and automatically posts the transactions to the accounting software.
